Steven Rust formerly of Abington, MA passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 60. Steve was born in Boston on September 16, 1963. He grew up in Holbrook and graduated from HolbrookHigh School. Steve was a long-time resident of the town of Abington until he moved to Pennsylvania. Steve worked for the family business as a mechanic at Abington Automatic Transmission and later started his own towing company called Steve's Towing.

Steve is survived by his two daughters Jessica and Kaitlyn Rust. As well as his siblings William F. Rust III and his wife Deborah of Abington, and Alice Ann Finnegan of Weymouth. Steve will be missed by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Steve was predeceased by his parents Toby and Katherine Rust of Holbrook, MA and his sister Dorothy Early of Pennsylvania. We take solace that he will be reunited with them again.

Steve was someone that could always make a friend out of anyone and always kept people laughing. Growing up he enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends in Holbrook. He always liked spending time at the beach and being in his backyard pool and being surrounded by his family. He could always be caught watching Saturday morning TV with his family.

He will be missed by all that knew him.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Friday May 3 from 4pm to 7pm.
