Susan Marie Blushi, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She was born on December 10, 1953, to Helen and George McKenna, and spent 51 wonderful years as the loving wife of Brian Blushi, celebrating their anniversary on May 11, 1974.

Susan was a proud graduate of Braintree High School and pursued her passion for beauty at Quincy Beauty Academy. Later, she furthered her education at Massasoit Community College, earning her degree in respiratory therapy, a testament to her lifelong dedication to caring for others.

A devoted mother, Susan cherished her children, Brian Keith and Jennifer, and was a doting "Mammy" to her grandchildren: Maxim, Weston, Reagan, Braiden, and Logan. Her love for family was unwavering, and her children and grandchildren were her everything.

Susan had a special way of bringing joy to every occasion. She loved the holidays and would enthusiastically create stories to build the excitement for Santa's arrival. As a peacemaker among her siblings—Mary, Nancy, James, and Richard—she always calmed the squabbles, showcasing her nurturing spirit from an early age.

Her dedication to family extended to her role as a grandmother, where "Mammy Wednesdays" became a cherished tradition, highlighting her devotion and love. Susan was known for her thoughtfulness, ensuring that no birthday or milestone went unnoticed, always leaving surprises and creating unforgettable memories.

In the past 18 months, Susan experienced profound love and care from her husband, Brian, who stood by her side. She now rests peacefully, deserving of the most beautiful and gentle heaven.

A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington on Saturday April 5, from 3 PM to 5 PM followed by a funeral home service at 5 PM.

Following the funeral home service everyone is welcome back to the American Legion in Whitman 33 Legion Pkwy to continue the celebration of Susan's life.
