Thomas Durante of Brockton formerly of East Boston, January 27, 2021,age 82, loving husband of Antoinette (Coscia) Durante; Loving father of  Kristen Lupo and husband John Lupo; Beloved grandpa to Aria Rae Lupo (1) and Maximus Lupo (3); Loving brother of Peter Durante; Loving son of the late Emily and Pat Durante; Loved uncle and cousin to many, the Nappis, The Morrins, The Durante's, and the DesRocher Family; Also, survive by his best friend  Wayne Thompson and very loved by his furdaughter, Dixie Doodle.

To know Tom was to love him. Optimistic, his sunny disposition never went unnoticed, and he was a light in many lives. Regardless of the conversation, he always felt like "home". Hard working, a dedicated (retired in his 70s!) Master Electrician of Milton Hospital, he found his work fulfilling, the co-worker relationships meaningful. His love for animals was a consistent highlight. If you saw Tom at a party and there was a dog, it is guaranteed the dog would come first. His appreciation of the outdoors was certainly passed down to his grandkids.

A saying we've all heard lately is "look for the helpers". Tom was a helper, Tom would give you the shirt off of his very own back. He was committed to making sure everyone around him was always "ok" and taken care of. We will miss him very much.

A private service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, Abington and burial will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland. Please sign our online guestbook.
