Thomas Gargano of Rockland, January 27, age 82, Loving husband of 52 years to the late Carol Gargano; Loving father of Marie E. Russo of Whitman and her late husband Lawrence Russo, Patricia L. Pitts and husband William of Kingston, David P. Gargano and wife Lisa of Whitman, and Michael T. Gargano of Rockland; Loving grandfather of Renee, Anthony, Joseph, Breana, Nicole, Joshua, Jessica, Alissa, and Elaine. Also, survived by several great grandchildren.

Thomas was born and raised in Quincy. He was a Navy Korean War veteran. Thomas was a cook in the Navy and especially loved cooking Italian food.  He was an Electrolux Vacuum cleaner salesman. Thomas loved Classical Country Music. He played lead guitar as well as the harmonica. Over the years he and his band played at various Veteran's Halls as well as other venues. He will be greatly missed by his family.

A graveside service will be held with military honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Wednesday February 1 at 1pm.
