Vincent "Vinnie" Griffin lifelong resident of Abington, December 30, 2015, age 89, Loving husband of the late Catherine Griffin; Loving father of Robert Griffin of Brimfield, Catherine Brogna of Whitman, and Brian Griffin of Ringwood, NJ; Loving brother of twin sister Ester Griffin and James Griffin, and the late Lawrence Jr., Mary, and Tessie Griffin; Also, survived by loving companion Marilyn Benton, 8 grand children, and 7 great grandchildren.

Vinnie was co-owner of the family farm, Griffin's Dairy in Abington. He was a past Grand Knight of the Whitman Knight of Columbus. Vinnie was a founding member of the Abington Citizens Scholarship Foundation, former chairman of Security Committee at North Abington Co-op Bank and board member, and a founding member of the Abington St. Patrick's Day Committee and Grand Marshal.

Funeral  from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington  Tuesday January 5 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Monday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockalnd.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Vinnie to: Abington Citizens Scholarship Foundation, 500 Gliniewicz Way, Abington or St. Vincent de Paul, 455 Plymouth St., Abington.
