William R. Blanchard Jr. of Abington, May 4, age 74, Loving son of the late William and Ruth Blanchard; loving husband of Barbara A. (Burns) Blanchard of Abington; Loving father of Denise Eisan of E. Bridgewater, Dianne DeMille of Rockland, William Blanchard III of Rockland, Brian Blanchard of Hingham, and Lynn Murphy of Quincy; Loving brother of the late Ralph Brown, Frederick Brown, and John Blanchard; Also survived by 15 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. William was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion both in Abington, and was a foster parent for 25 children. Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Saturday May 8 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington, 9am. Visitation Friday 4 to 7pm.
