William C. Swan of Abington, August 5, age 81, loving husband of 50 years to Marie (Kean) Swan of Abington; Loving father of Sheila M. Tatulli and husband Robert of Abington, William C. Swan Jr. of RI, and Matthew J. Swan of Abington; Loving brother of Ruth Gaskill and husband Howard of NH, and the late Charles and Robert Swan; Loving grandfather of Kathryn and William Tatulli of Abington, Matthew J. Swan of Abington, and Kaitlyn E. Swan of Taunton. William was a member of the Abington Finance Committee and Captain of the Abington Police Auxiliary for many years. He retired from Home Insurance Co. and John Hancock Insurance Co. Arrangements by the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, Abington. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Bridget Church, Abington Wednesday August 8 at 9am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland.
