Alfred J. Norman 87 of Abington passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 21. Alfred was born on November 13 in Quincy, MA. Alfred was the loving husband to the late Cecile Norman. Alfred was the loving father of Cecille & her late husband Jeffrey Shotwell of Virginia, John Dulski of Braintree, and Jeanne and her late husband Robert Pepe of Abington. He was the loving grandfather to Jeffrey Shotwell Jr., Jennifer Shotwell, and Robert Pepe Jr. as well as eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Alfred leaves his brother Ralph Norman of Weymouth and the late Paul Norman. Alfred was the beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews as well. There was nothing more in life that Alfred treasured than his family and friends.
Alfred loved watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Alfred helped start the men’s softball league in Abington and decided to start a woman’s softball league and went on to win the state championship, which he was so proud of that team. Alfred loved all his types of animals including a farm of his own in his backyard. His dream was to one day own some race horses and it had finally come true, winning many races.
As the years went by Alfred always would say I got to do everything I wanted to do in life and not many people can say that. He truly loved life
