David Michael Armstrong 52 of Pembroke, MA formerly of South Weymouth, MA passed away on March 26 after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his mother Joan (Krepon) Armstrong, his father Richard Armstrong, his brother Richard F. Armstrong, his sister Valerie Armstrong and his brother Robert Armstrong. He is survived by his daughters, Rachael, Taylor, and Cailan Armstrong, his sister Susan (Armstrong) Chiavaroli, brother-in-law Paul Chiavaroli, his nephew Anthony Chiavoroli, Niece Nicole (Chiavaroli) Calderas, her husband Carlos Calderas and the mother of his children, Sharla (Chapin) Armstrong. He had many other friends and family. David grew up in South Weymouth where he excelled at baseball. He was retired from the Plumbers Union Local 12. David was a lover of music and spent many years with his band, Hidden City. He loved his girls more than life and enjoyed coaching football and baseball and working out. He will be remembered for his outgoing and comical personality. David’s last few years were spent as a paraplegic due to a spinal cord injury. He fought hard to embrace his disability. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday April 9 in St. Bridget Church, 455 Plymouth Street, Abington at 10:30am.
