Edward Brian Moodoyan of Abington passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife and two daughters on July 20, 2021 after a 14 month battle with cancer. Ed was born October 9, 1969 to the late Robert Moodoyan and late Barbara Moodoyan. Ed grew up in Framingham Massachusetts and graduated from Framingham North High School. He continued his education at Northeastern University and received a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation he worked in several Marriott Hotels as Head of Hotel Security. Because of Ed’s love of technology, his career transitioned to Hospitality Information Technology.
Ed was the loving husband of 21 years to Lynne (Petrillo) Moodoyan and devoted father to his beautiful twin daughters Jessica and Olivia. He was the beloved “baby” brother to Michael Moodoyan, Adrienne (Moodoyan) O’Rourke and Dione (Moodoyan) Bombara. His nieces and nephews Ryan, Christopher, Daniel, Samuel, Matthew, Olivia, Judah ,Julian, Christopher and Evelyn held a special place in Ed’s heart and he impacted each and every one of their lives in such a positive and loving way.
Ed maintained lifelong friendships with his childhood friends from Framingham. He referred to them as “The Boys” and they meant the world to him. They always stayed in constant contact having dinners together and enjoying their annual Nantucket Boys Trip.
Ed’s true joy was his role as husband and father. He cherished Lynne and they had a love story that grew every day they were together. The blessing of their twins Jessica and Olivia completed their family. Ed embraced his role as father to his two beautiful girls and balanced their relationship with love, support and humor that made him the perfect “girl dad” and their best friend.
Ed leaves behind family, in-laws and dear close friends whom he loved with all his heart. He will be missed beyond words can describe.
