George J. Greenwood Jr.

George J Greenwood, Jr of Abington, January 31, age 94. Loving husband, for 67 years, of the late Theresa L Greenwood. Loving father of George J Greenwood III and wife Jane of North Carolina, Robert F Greenwood and wife Linda of Florida, Theresa J Sullivan and husband Michael of Abington, Mary Ellen Medici and husband Michael of Georgia, Maureen Dean and husband Richard of Middleboro and the late Thomas E Greenwood; loving brother of Dorothy McFarland of New Hampshire. George is survived by 39 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

George’s sense of humor, ever present smile, and love of life brought great joy to his family and friends. George enjoyed the ever present company, visits, and regular calls from his children and grandchildren, people watching from his front porch in Abington, to his balcony overlooking Myrtle Beach, and attending Patriot’s games with his family.

Funeral from Quealy and Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, Monday, February 8 will be private. Visitation, Saturday February 6 from 3-5PM. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne on February 8 at 12:45PM.
