Heather Johnston Obituary

Heather M. Johnston, 38 of Abington passed away on November 9th after a brave battle against breast cancer. She is survived by her life partner Alex Maskell and two daughters Danyca Aleigh(9) and Alex Jayne (2). She was the daughter of Paul and Michelle Johnston. Loving sister of Kelly Johnston and partner Christopher Memmo. Godmother to Mia Tierney and Madison Carew. Heather is also survived by many cousins aunts and uncles.
Heather was a devoted mother who was loyal to her family and friends. She dedicated herself to making the world a better place though giving to her community. She was grateful for the love and support she received through her fight against breast cancer. Heather was a true warrior that never complained throughout her illness and always remained positive no matter how tough the circumstances were she had to endure. Even during her final days she shed more tears about the people she would leave behind than she did over herself.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home at 116 Adams Street, Abington on Thursday, November 17 from 4pm to 8pm. A funeral will be held at St. Mary's Church in Hanover on Friday November 18th at 10am. Interment will be private
