Cosgrove of Abington, June 21, 2021, age 77, Loving mother of Denise Marie Trott and husband John Trott, Mark Anthony Rolef and wife Christine, James Joseph Litterio and wife Lisa Litterio, and the late John Anthony Litterio Jr. whom died of sids as an infant; Beloved grandmother of John Anthony Junkins, William Lawrence Junkins, James Joseph Litterio Jr., and Lydia Alice Litterio. Loving great grandmother of Nicholas John Junkins, Alanna Grace Junkins, John William Junkins, and Lewis Christopher Junkins; Loving sister of Janice Gillisen, James Barowy, and the late Joseph Barowy; Beloved daughter of the late Joseph Barowy and Lorriane Barowy; Loving wife of the late Martin Cosgrove; Also, survived by Godchild Tanya Ames and many nieces and nephews.
Judith grew up on the Northshore in Ipswich, with family in Ipswich and Newburyport. Judith attended the convent and was ready to take her vows as a nun, but was introduced to her husband and ended up with a different calling. She loved her children very much and was very proud of them. Judith was a wonderful knitter and crocheter, most people can do one or the other, but few do both. She loved the ocean, sea food, going to the beach, swimming in the ocean, being in the sunshine, loved music, dancing, animals, cooking, holidays especially thanksgiving and Christmas, parades, and her garden
Visitation will be held in the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington on Thursday June 24 from 5 to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday June 25 at St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland.
