Kevin Edmund Hall, 61, of Osterville, Massachusetts passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at home surrounded by his beloved family and lifelong friends.
Kevin was born in Abington, Massachusetts the son of the late Edmund Hall and Beverly (Boucher) Hall of Bridgewater.
Kevin leaves behind his wife of 39 years Janet (Robertson) Hall, son Brendan Hall and wife Carolyn of Framingham, MA, daughters Caitlin and husband John Burleson of Brentwood, TN and Colleen Graham and husband Tyler of Barnstable, MA; brother Stephen Hall of Abington, sisters Kathleen Sulmonte and husband Anthony of Abington, Karen Hall of Newport, NH, Bridget Sprague and husband James of Sandwich, MA. Kevin was blessed with seven grandchildren: Paige (6), Kevin (5) , Rose (3), Patrick (3), Connor (1), Gavin (1) and Cara (0). He loved nothing more than spending time with them at “Camp Bumpa”.
Kevin is predeceased by his father Edmund Hall (2014).
Kevin is a graduate of Abington High School (1979) and received a BS in Finance from North Adams State College (1983). While at North Adams, Kevin met some of his closest friends and became part of a lifelong brotherhood on Willow Street, known throughout campus for their epic gatherings.
Kevin had a long career in Finance, spending a majority of his working years at Simplex Time Recorder Company in Gardner, MA. He stayed with the company through several mergers and acquisitions, ultimately advancing to the role of Vice President of Global Financial Solutions. During this time he resided in Westminster, MA, and was an active member at Oak Hill Country Club.
For the last ten years, Kevin has called Cape Cod his home and lived the typical Cape Cod lifestyle full of boating, fishing, kayaking, biking, golf and Friday night fire pits with his best friends. He had truly carved out a quiet slice of paradise and was living his dream. His house was always full of family, friends and visitors who enjoyed his infectious personality and endless stream of “Kevinisms”.
Kevin was an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed; his legacy of integrity, compassion for others, and living a life filled with gratitude will live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren
A visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral will be held at St. Bridget Church, Abington on Wednesday October 19th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington
