Kevin Leary Obituary

Kevin F. Leary of Plymouth formerly of Abington, February 10, 2021, age 74, Loving husband of Rosemary  Leary; Beloved son of the late Robert and Eileen Leary;  Loving brother of Judith Cronin of Rockland, Brian Leary of Rockland, and Richard Leary of Kingston. Also, Kevin is survived by 3 children and 4 stepchildren and his 17 grandchildren, Jen, Jill, Julia, Sal, Marina, Courtney, Chloe, James, Jason, Abigail, Lilly, Jack, Alyssa, Izabella, Maxwell, Dillon, and Evelyn. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews and brother in law to the late Al DiStefano, Janet Damon, James and John Distephano.

Kevin was an Air Force Vietnam Veteran.  Kevin was the owner for many years of Olde Towne Flooring in Abington. He also worked for several Flooring Companies across the South Shore. Kevin retired from the state office of the American Legion. He was most proud of the work he did in designing and getting the Abington veterans memorial created. He was a member of the Abington VFW and American Legion. He held several positions including Commander and Quartermaster for the Abington VFW before moving to Plymouth and joining the Plymouth VFW and American Legion. For many years he ran the Abington VFW youth bowling league on Saturday mornings at Timber Lanes.  Kevin was also the former President of the Abington Lions club. Kevin and Rosemary loved to go to the Saturday night dances at the VFW.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Please check back for announcement of date and time. Donations may be made in memory of Kevin to: Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
