Raymond L. Cummings

Raymond Leo Cummings of Abington passed away on December 22, 2022. He was 75 years old. Ray was born in Cohasset, MA on November 15, 1947. Ray leaves behind his loving wife of forty four years Rolene Davis- Cummings of Abington. 

Ray was predeceased by his parents Leo S. Cummings and Mary MacIver Cummings. Besides Ray’s wife Rolene he also is survived by his brother Ronald Cummings and his wife Sheila of Hanover, MA, his sister Diane MacMillian and her husband Donald of Gibsonville, NC.

Ray was also surived by his brother in law Roland Davis Jr. of Abington and his sister in law Heather Davis Chermeka and her husband Wayne Cheremka of Abington. 

Ray is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Derek Cummings, Donald MacMillian, Tyler Davis, and Sherry Reid, and Michelle Kippenhan. 

Ray’s hobbies included going fishing, going to air shows, and car racing.

Ray worked with his father as a carpenter for a long time he was also an employee of Boston Whaler Company. In Ray’s later years he worked for several part store delivering parts for Bagnell Auto Parts, Allied Part and Fisher Auto Parts.

Ray will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington on Thursday January 12, 2023 from 4 to 7pm. Funeral home service will be held on Friday January 13, 2023, 10 am with interment to follow at Mt Vernon Cemetery Abington.
