He would travel the New England area repairing booths and chairs for Papa Gino’s. He also worked for the Braintree Cemeteries, Braintree Housing Authority, and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Abington. Dick’s favorite place to share with family was Cape Cod. He loved spending his summers on the Cape, especially with his granddaughters. He loved having his granddaughters around. He would take them on mystery adventures to New Hampshire for a weekend of fun. He taught them how to drive a giant tractor and work in the garden and even care for his chickens.
