Obituary

Shirley Mae (Raymond) Hobart of Abington, February 13, 2023, age 90, beloved wife of the late Robert Lester Hobart Jr.; Loving mother of Robert L. Hobart III and wife Lisa of Abington, and Donald Hobart and wife Lorraine of Abington; Loving grandmother of Michael Hobart and partner Rebecca Briggs of Holbrook, Jillian Hobart and partner Joseph Palano of Weymouth, Allison Hobart of Abington, and Adam Hobart and wife Kendra of Whitman; Loving great-grandmother of Ava and Dominic.

Shirley retired from South Shore Medical Center as a supervisor bookkeeper.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Friday February 17 from 10am to 11am, followed by a funeral home service at 11am. Interment will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Shirley to: Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452
