Wayne was the loving father to Wayne Norling II and his wife Diane (Hartford) of Abington, Patricia (Norling) Stagliola and her husband Michael of Middleboro, Kenneth Norling and his partner Faith Gakio of Boxboro, and his daughter-in-law Deanna of Florida. Wayne could always be found working in his garden and yard as he took great pride in showcasing many different types of flowers, trees, and shrubs. He was known around town for the best heirloom tomatoes at his vegetable stand as well as a constant supply of seasoned firewood bins out in front of his house. Wayne was still splitting firewood when he turned 90 years old last November. Spending quality time with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren was one of his greatest joys. Wayne especially loved Sunday morning drives and exploring many different parts of Massachusetts with his son Wayne. He was a proud Abington resident for the last 64 years and was well known throughout the town for his quick wit and humor. Wayne always enjoyed making people laugh.
Wayne will be missed by all, and his memories will live on forever.
