William M. Podzon of Abington, age 82, passed away December 18, 2020 suddenly due to a fall. He passed at his bedside in the arms of his devoted wife and best friend Elleanor (Ellie)(Forristall) Podzon.
He was the owner of Custom Craft in Brockton and was a well known and admired cabinet maker/craftsman on the South Shore. William was a Korean War Veteran. He did extensive traveling with his wife. He loved photography, especially nature and lighthouses. He spent his early summer years on his boat at the Nip in Bridgewater.
He was the son of the late William and Eleanor Podzon and leaves behind his sister Carol Welch of Taunton and his late sister Rosemarie Rodrigue of Brockton. Loving father of William, Matthew, Deborah, Mark, Joseph, and the late Michael and Diane. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather, and step-father of Amy and Katie.
William was a kind and generous man, he will be truly missed by all who loved and admired him.
Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Sunday December 27 from 2 to 5pm. A private funeral service will be held Monday at 11am and can be viewed via webcast button below.
