Adele (Milewski) Dombrowski of Abington, passed away peacefully Monday, March 20 th, 2023 at the age of 100.
Adele was the daughter of Francis and Antoinnette Milewski. She was born in Lowell, MA on September 16, 1922.
She was the wife of the late Charles Dombrowski. They planted their roots and raised a family in Abington starting in 1942. She had four children, late Nancy Dombrowski, Diane
Murray of Orlando, FL, late Charles Dombrowski Jr., and James (Jean) Dombrowski of Abington.
Adele is survived by her cherished grandchildren Michael Murray, Michelle (Flint) Tietjen, Elizabeth Murray, Kathy (Thomas) Bradley, Jamie (Gregory) Everard and James (Beth)
Dombrowski. She also was blessed with 5 great-grandchildren, Cole Tietjen, Hunter Tietjen, Carter Bradley, Claire Bradley, and Lyra Dombrowski. Adele is loved by many nieces,
nephews, and longtime friends.
She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for many years. She proudly made uniforms and sea bags for soldiers during World War II. She was one of the founding
Coordinators for the Council of Aging in Abington. Adele was an avid bowler, loved music, and dancing the Polka. She enjoyed singing in the Harmony Blue, decorative arts, knitting,
and gardening. Adele loved playing Bingo, her most favorite pastime. She was fortunate to make many caring friends along the way.
Adele was regarded as the family historian and an early master of the camcorder. She took pride in recording the lives, stories, and personalities of her family and friends.
She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Abington Senior Group. V.B.G. Association at the Housing Complex.
A glorious graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 1 st at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland, MA.

Friends of Abington Seniors Fund, 441 Summer Street, Abington, MA 02351.
