Jeanne Stone

After a brief illness Jeanne M Stone age 94, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2022.  The daughter of the late John and Ilse Wain of Weymouth, she was born in Winthrop, Mass and graduated from Braintree high school.
Jeanne had a beautiful singing voice and during her time at Braintree High, she sang soprano in musicals and operettas. Her love of singing remained with her throughout her life.
Some of her fondest memories were of weeks spent at White Horse Beach with her family, taking in early sunrises, listening to the crashing waves with her cup of coffee.
Jeanne was predeceased by her sister Geraldine Johnson.

Her daughter Susan Stewart, who is survived by John Stewart, who was always like a son to Jeanne.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter Kathleen Dodds of West Point, VA.

Grammy to Kristina Serio, her husband Joe and their kids Caleb and Noah.  

Mimi to Ian Stewart, his wife Sara and their kids Jacob, Grace, Eli and Annabelle.  

As well as, Jill Papkee, her husband Eric and their kids Abigail, Luke and Julia.

Loving Aunt to Carol Fallano and her husband Tom, Jacqueline Goulart, and Wayne Johnson and his wife Pam. 

Of all the things that Jeanne loved, the most important were her family, her ecclesia and God, God being her greatest love.  Her faith in God’s promises never wavered and she believed until her final breath that she would be raised at the last day. Now she is sleeping waiting for Christ’s return.
