Michael R Durante

 Michael Ronald Durante, 64,passed away on the morning Nov 9th 2021 at home peacefully with his children by his side. 

Michael grew up in Quincy MA, and later resided in Rockland. In his younger years Michael enlisted in the US Navy, spent his enlistment traveling the world on an aircraft carrier, where he worked on naval aviation systems. He later returned back home to MA to rekindle an old flame with his late wife Natalie. They were married May 15th 1982. 

Michael was a loving husband, dad, and papa. Everything he ever did, ever worked for, was for his family. 

He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life but most of all loved spending time with family on his boat. Michael was often seen aboard his vessel on L Dock in Hingham, sporting his Australian safari sunhat, and shades, while drinking a cold beer. He enjoyed the many friendships among fellow boaters over the years and made so many fun memories.

Michael was a jack of all trades, enjoyed tinkering and fixing things most of us would throw away. He was always lending a hand and never thought twice about dropping what he was doing to help a family member or friend. He had a huge heart. 

Michael is survived by his daughter Kerri, and her husband Jared Smith, his Son Ryan Durante, and his wife Corissa Quinn, two grandchildren; Mia Eddy and Logan Smith. Mother; Gail Durante, Sister;Robin Kolenda,Brother; Brian Durante,  many brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

Michael will be missed, and forever in our hearts. 

There will be visitation on Sunday November 14, 2021  from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Quealy Funeral Home
