MICHAEL S. IACOVELLI
FEBRUARY 21, 1943—MAY 25, 2021
Michael S. Iacovelli, age 78, of Abington, MA, passed away peacefully on May 25th with
his beloved wife of 55 years Eleanor “Ellie” (Rouleau) at his side.
Mike grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. He furthered his
education at Suffolk University where he obtained his MBA and worked as an accountant
his whole career. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era from March 1966 to
January 1968. When younger, Mike enjoyed fishing and hunting. In later years, he and
Ellie liked to travel to many of the Caribbean islands and Florida to enjoy the warmer
weather and beautiful beaches. He resided in Abington for almost 50 years.
He is also survived by his daughters Lisa Kittredge and her husband David of Abington;
and Lori O’Connor and her husband Alan of Easton; grandchildren Michael and Nicholas
Kittredge of Abington; and Kyle and Sydney O’Connor of Easton. In addition, Mike
leaves his brother, Richard Iacovelli and wife Cheryl of Whitman, and many cousins,
nieces, nephews, and a brother-in-law. Mike was predeceased by his parents Michael and
Vita M. Iacovelli.
