Paul D'Amato Obituary

Paul D'Amato of Abington, passed away in his sleep peacefully at home September 14, 2021 after a lingering illness, he was born at 16 Vernon Street in Abington on October 17, 1933; Son of Late Alexander Sr. and Edith Dame; Survived by his loving wife Patricia R. (Coleman) D’Amato; Brother of  Richard and his wife Helen of Ayer, MA; Loving father of  Patti D'Amato of Abington, Lisa D'Amato of West Dennis, Paul Alexander D'Amato and wife Donna of Middleboro, MA, and Deborah Noal and her husband Ryan of San Antonio, TX; Also, survived by his 7 Grandchildren: Alicia and her husband John, Paulina, Heidi, Lydia and her husband Kaileb, Trainor, Micah and his wife Melanie, and Nevin, 3 great grandchildren Alexandra, Calvin, and John, and several nieces and nephews.

Paul served in Army and grew up working in family business D'Amato's supermarket. In early 60's he started his own company Electralarm which he ran for over 50 years. He also owned Biz Place on Lincoln Blvd for many years. Paul graduated from Abington High School class of 1951. Paul graduated from Mass. Radio and Telegraph School and served two years in the US Army Signal Corps. He also served the town in many ways.
