Robert Gordon Obituary

Robert Gordon died on Monday February 6, 2023 after a long and valiant battle with complicated health issues. He was the son of the late George and Anne Gordon of Abington. He leaves behind his sister, Cynthia Gordon of Illinois and his nieces and nephews Kate, Deborah, Benjamin and Daniel. He also leaves behind his dear friend Veronica. Robert was raised in Abington where he was an outstanding student. He was a graduate of Tufts University and Boston University Law School. Robert was an outstanding and highly skilled attorney and was a partner at Koplan, Gordon  and McCormick before entering a solo practice in Brockton. Robert excelled at complicated legal matters in which he had a passion and a proficiency that was the envy of his peers. Robert was a long time member of TGA Nautilus Fitness in Brockton where imparted his knowledge and wit to many of its members and he was admired by all. He was also a friend and mentor to many an attorney who requested his advice and he was a valuable asset to the attorney’s at the Lawyers Building in Brockton where he was a legend and will be remembered fondly by all of them.

 

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington on Friday February 10 from 1pm to 4pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
