Anne (Hamilton) Leone, 70 years young of South Weymouth, MA passed away peacefully August 10, 2016. She was the loving wife of James Leone of 33 years. Anne was the youngest child of the late Thomas and Gertrude Hamilton.

 

Anne grew up in Jamaica Plain, was the owner of Isle of Beauty Salon on Centre Street in West Roxbury until she moved to South Weymouth with her family in 1984. Anne spent many years as a medical assistant at Mass Respiratory Hospital in Braintree.  Anne's most favorite job was her most recent where she spent 15 years as the assistant manager at Dunkin Donuts in Abington. She was known to everyone there as "grandma" she loved her staff and customers so very much.

 

Anne was the beloved mother of Jessica (Leone) Paulding and her husband Michael of West Bridgewater. Her grandson Logan James Paulding was the light of his "Mimi's" life. Loving step-mother to Lisa (Leone) Griffin and Jason of South Weymouth, James Leone, Jr. of Salisbury, North Carolina. Step-grandmother to James Leone, III of Salisbury, North Carolina. Brothers; Thomas Hamilton of Hyde Park, and the late John Charles Hamilton formally of Lakeville. Her beloved sister in law and best friend of 56 years Sheila Hamilton of Lakeville. Godchildren; Julia and Jeremy Sheehan and their children Zachary and Benjamin of Stoughton, John and Robin Hamilton of South Dartmouth and their daughter Elizabeth of Worcester. Sister & Brothers in law; Janice and Harold Hebert of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, Daniel Leone, Jr. of Braintree; many nieces and nephews, and her close friend Andrea Daniels of South Weymouth.

 

Visiting hours will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Sunday August 14 from 2pm to 5pm. Interment will be private at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Guardian Center 888 North Main Street Brockton, MA 02301 whose staff and residents took the best care of Anne in her final days.
