Edith W. Tulip died peacefully in Brooksville, Florida on Sunday, June 7th. She was married to Jerry E. Tulip, who died in 2007.
They raised four daughters in So. Weymouth, MA: Mildred Riley, who died in 2011; Carolyn Sheppard of Florida; Drue Tulip-Valerio of Tennessee; and Marjorie Sado of Hawaii.
After they retired, they summered on Cape Cod and wintered in Brooksville, FL.
There Edith joined the Red Hat Society and remained the oldest member. She was an avid Scrabble player, enjoyed crossword puzzles and bingo. Edith was on a bowling league. She loved to knit. She enjoyed selling antiques at the Flea Market. She was a wonderful homemaker and Mom.
Besides three daughters, she leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Saturday June 20 from 8:30am to 9:30am, followed by a service at 9:30. Interment Oakland Grove Cemetery, Bourne.
