Robert P. Sheridan

Robert “Bob” Peter Sheridan passed away at South Shore Hospital on March 29, 2024. He was 67 years old. Bob was born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1956.

Bob graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree in 1974. Bob Enlisted in the Air Force where he was medically discharged in 1976.

In his younger years, Bob worked as a chef at Gillette in Boston. From there, he always had a job in the restaurant industry whether it was from cooking and managing at Bickford’s in Braintree, Ricks Café in Randolph and Grumpy Whites in Quincy, just to name a few. Bob ended his lifelong restaurant career at Grumpy Whites in Quincy as the Manager, until they closed their doors in November 2020.

Bob was married for a short amount of time to Joan and they resided in Weymouth, MA.

Bob is survived by his sister Barbara Riccio and her husband Gerry of Halifax, MA, as well his God daughter Alison Estano and her husband Kevin and his neice Leanne Hennebury and her husband Jonathan and several friends. Bob was so kind and loving to his nieces and nephews. He would always bring them a surprise of some kind when they all got together for birthday celebrations or holidays.

Bob spent the rest of his retirement doing the simple things like spending quiet time at his home in Weymouth, listening to his favorite music and browsing the web on his computer. From time to time, he always enjoyed getting together with the guys for a pizza and cold beer at Linwood and the Amvets, both in Randolph.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Wednesday,  April 10 from 4pm to 7pm.  A funeral service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30am. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Boston.
