Robert “Rob” Quealy
Funeral Director / Owner
Robert “Rob” Quealy has dedicated his life to continuing the family tradition of service at Quealy & Son Funeral Home. A lifelong resident of Abington, Rob takes great pride in serving the community he has always called home.
A graduate of Abington High School, Class of 1995, Rob went on to attend the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 1999. During his time there, he studied abroad in Glasgow, Scotland—an experience he still considers one of the most valuable of his college years.
After returning to Massachusetts, Rob made the decision in 2001 to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, becoming a third-generation funeral director. He attended the Funeral Institute of the Northeast (FINE) and became a licensed funeral director, committed to carrying on the family tradition of “pride in personal service.”
In 2006, Rob & Amy purchased the funeral home from his parents, continuing the legacy established by his grandparents in 1948. Known for his kindness and dedication, Rob strives to provide compassionate, personalized care to every family he serves. He is also a licensed insurance agent.
Rob is the proud father and enjoys spending time with his wife, and their family. He continues to reside in Abington.

Amy Somers Quealy EdD
Community Relations
Dr. Amy Somers-Quealy, EdD, is a 1994 graduate of Rockland High School. She went on to attend Pine Manor College, now part of Boston College, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communication with a minor in Spanish. She later received her Master’s Degree in Education from Cambridge College and her Doctorate of Education from Northeastern University.
Professionally, Dr. Somers-Quealy serves as the PreK–12 Multilingual Director for Stoughton Public Schools, where she is dedicated to supporting students, families, and educators in creating inclusive learning environments. Beyond her professional career, Amy remains deeply committed to giving back to her family business and supporting her community through outreach and compassionate service.
Having experienced significant loss early in life, Amy understands the challenges of grief firsthand. For many years, she facilitated grief support groups and continues to play an active role in the Annual Candle Lighting of Remembrance, offering comfort and support to grieving families and individuals.
Amy lives in Abington with her husband, Rob, and is the proud mother of their two sons, Gabe and Jackson.

Kenny Allan
Funeral Director
Kenny Allan has always had a passion for helping others and serving families with compassion, dignity, and respect. Born and raised on the South Shore, Kenny takes great pride in helping families navigate difficult times while providing the personal care and attention they deserve.
After graduating from Silver Lake Regional High School in 2007, Kenny spent many years working in his family’s business, where he learned the importance of patience, professionalism, and putting people first. His desire to help others led him to pursue a career in funeral service. Kenny graduated from the Funeral Service Program at Cape Cod Community College in 2023 and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Kenny is dedicated to guiding families through the funeral planning process with compassion and understanding while helping create meaningful services that honor and celebrate life. He believes every family should be treated as if they were his own and takes pride in going the extra mile for those he serves.
Kenny currently resides in East Bridgewater with his wife and their son. Outside of the funeral home, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being involved in the local community. He is proud to be part of the Quealy & Son Funeral Home team and honored to continue its tradition of personal and compassionate service throughout the South Shore.

William “Bill” Quealy
Funeral Director Second Generation
William “Bill” Quealy has dedicated his entire professional life to serving the Abington community with compassion, dignity, and care. A 1970 graduate of Abington High School, Bill began his career working alongside his father, Robert “Bob” Quealy, at Quealy & Son Funeral Home—the business his parents founded in 1948.
While apprenticing at the funeral home, Bill attended the New England Institute of Anatomy in Boston. In 1975, he became a licensed funeral director and continued working closely with his father throughout the 1970s, developing the values and personal approach that would define his career.
In 1977, Bill purchased the funeral home from his parents, proudly continuing the family tradition of service to the Abington community. Over the years, he became known not only for his professionalism, but for his genuine care and dedication to the families he served during their most difficult times.
Bill has been an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Knights of Columbus, and St. Bridget Parish. He considers his greatest accomplishment—outside of his family—to be the opportunity to help families through moments of loss with compassion and respect.
Now retired, Bill enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Christine, reside on Cape Cod during the summer months and spend their winters in warmer climates.

Christine Quealy
Family Services Coordinator
Christine Quealy has devoted much of her life to her family, her community, and the families served by Quealy & Son Funeral Home. A graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1971, Christine grew up in Brockton before marrying her husband, Bill, and making their home in Abington.
Christine was a licensed insurance agent and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Following Bill’s purchase of the funeral home, her role in the business steadily grew, becoming an essential part of its daily operations and the care provided to families.
Known for her compassion and attention to detail, Christine brought a personal and thoughtful touch to every service. Her dedication helped shape the Quealy family’s mission of providing distinctive, meaningful services that families will always remember. She takes great pride in ensuring that every family is cared for with the same respect and attention as if they were her own.
Christine and Bill are the proud parents of three children—Lynn, Robert, and Paula—and grandparents of four.

Barry A. Geraghty
Licensed Professional Assistant
Barry Geraghty has dedicated many years to serving the Town of Abington and giving back to his community. A lifelong public servant, Barry proudly served for thirty-two years as a Police Officer and D.A.R.E. Officer for the Town of Abington, where he became known for his compassion, professionalism, and commitment to helping others. Barry also used skills learned through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation assisting First Responders around Plymouth County as a member of Plymouth County Stress Team.
Following his retirement from the Abington Police Department, Barry continued his passion for service by joining the funeral profession. As a Licensed Professional Assistant, Barry assists families during difficult times with care, dignity, and understanding. His calm presence, comforting nature, and willingness to help others make him a valued member of the Quealy & Son Funeral Home team. Barry also proudly serves as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Ghost Church, continuing his lifelong commitment to faith and community service.
Barry takes great pride in supporting families throughout the South Shore while continuing a lifetime of community involvement and personal service. He is a proud father and grandfather who believes family is everything. Barry currently resides in Whitman with his wife, Michelle.
