What a shock to hear of Dotties passing....She was the sunshine at Trucchis and I have never seen her without her beautiful smile and her caring ways. She also worked harder than anyone I have know and you all must be so proud to call her your Mom...After reading all the loving notes of condolences it proves that she was so loved and respected by all....Rest now sweet angel ...you deserve it....

Dot was the best of Trucchis! She cared about each and every person she encountered. She was beautiful inside and out. She had the kindest and warmest personality, and her presence was truly a gift. May God reward you, Dot, for being the very gracious lady you were. You touched so many, and brightened everyone's day! Heartfelt sympathy to her family, and may your many happy memories of her bring you peace and comfort. May God bless you all!

My sweet sweet beautiful mother.
No words can express how I am feeling right now. I just feel lost. Who am I going to run around with all weekend? Who am I going to call every day. ..usually 4 or 5 times a day.
You looked beautiful today. Don't worry about anything. Your beautiful cats will be loved and taken care of just like you did.
Tell Dad and Nana I love and miss them.
We will all be together again someday. Until then, rest in Paradise you beautiful precious love of my life. I love you xoxoxoxo

I didn't know "Dottie" all that well. However I found her to be a very pleasant and engaging person to be with. I enjoyed her company. I know she was a pillar of strength for Allison & Samantha during difficult periods in their lives. As Allison's Father in Law and Samantha's Grandfather I will always be grateful for her dedication and devotion to them.

I was so very sorry to hear of Dottie's passing yesterday. What a sweetheart! I knew Dottie as a customer at Trucchi's. She always had a kind word, a word of encouragement and bright smile. I would sometimes come in feeling a bit sick and she could brighten my day just by being "Dottie". I will miss her very, very much. I'll never forget Dottie and hope myself and everyone can "Be Like Dottie" because the world will be a better place as we honor her and continue her legacy of kindness. God bless you Dottie.

Good morning everyone

I know these's next 2 days are gonna be the toughest for all of us especially when we see Ma today.
There's no doubt about it there will be tons of tears.
We must try to keep our heads up high & be strong. Just like she did after Dad & her mother passed away.
I know she would say "don't cry, your gonna make me cry"
She wants us to be happy
& Our lives must go on.

Ma's in great company with
Dad, her mom, Jeff, Joey, ( ginny's husband) John.
And many many more.
We love our Mom & she will always be with us.
She was the Best ....

Sorry for your loss. Your Mother was a treasure to the customers. My 94 year old Mother lived on Washington Street opposite Trucchis. Even though my Mother was told repeatedly not to cross the two streets because it was too dangerous, she did it anyway. Your Mother would see her in the store and would walk her home so she would be safe. My whole family lives in Abington and we would have given her a ride to the store. My Mother died on April 12th. I'm sure your Mother is still watching out for my Mother!

I always went to the register Dottie was bagging at, no matter the wait, because I knew I would leave the store feeling good and smiling. She was a kind and caring person, and shopping at Tucchi's won't be the same without her. I will miss her, and always remember her kindness.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Dot. It is a great loss for me as well and all who knew her. She was an enormous help to me when I went into the store. I lost my husband and she knew how anxious I was in crowds. Whenever I had to go to the store, she was always there smiling and letting me know I would be okay. We always talked and I always told her how important she was to me. She was a wonderful and caring woman. I saw her last week .... She was smiling as usual and said, "Hi Cece" !! She made such an impact on me and her caring attitude was such a gift. I know she is peaceful and happy, but I miss her already. I want to thank you all for sharing wonderful Dot with the rest of us who will truly miss her.
Sincerely,
Cecelia

Dottie was an angel on earth! I worked with her at Trucchi's and she always had a smile for everyone. She was one of the hardest workers at the store and many of the "younger" employees could not keep up with her outside collecting carriages in the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Dottie always remembered what was going on in others' lives and cared enough to ask and listen. Dottie WAS Trucchi's to many people and she will be deeply missed. I loved working with her and learning from her. Rest in Peace Dottie, You were loved by many.
With Love, Jan
