Dear Diane, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father and to his sisters and their families.
Buddy was a great story teller and a kind and thoughtful brother-in-law to me. I will cherish my memories of him.
I will remember you and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Whenever I think of you I smile because that's what you always did. I can't remember a time when you weren't smiling. Your smile and laughter seemed to enter the room before you. Your eyes entered next and they were always twinkling. Last but not least to enter was your laugh. The perfect kind. Not too loud, not too soft, but just right. You always seemed to be joy personified. How could anyone do anything else but smile in return.

I also have so many fond memories of you singing at the piano. You and Auntie Ginny were such a pair together. The best part, however, was seeing any or all of the Sullivan siblings together in the same room. Anyone could tell how much you loved each other and loved being together. It was fun to see all of you talking and laughing together and noticing what we called "the Sullivan tilt" to your heads. You each had it. It was uncanny.

I remember trips to yours and Auntie Margie's house in Abington. I have many fond memories from that house. The other strong memory is the day your grandson became an Eagle Scout. You and Auntie Margie were so proud of him, and he was so happy being around you both. I was glad I had the chance to be a part of that wonderful day as well.

Your smile and your presence touched so many people. You will be missed by so many in so many ways.

Love,
Bobbi

Buddy - A wonderful singer, a terrific tap dancer, one of my best dance partners, and, of course, a great brother. Remembering all the great times and laughs together. Miss you now and always.
Love,
Ginnie

You were a wonderful, fun uncle Always smiling and blue eyes twinkling. I remember how you always brought home dolls for me and my sisters from various countries you had visited when you shipped out. One of my favorite memories is how you slipped in to the house to help us prepare for Mom's surprise birthday party that Dad was giving at the house. You washed the dishes and then helped us set things up outside for the party. It was a fun time.

You are loved and missed.

Love,
Kathie

Whenever I think of you I think of your joy for life and your Irish twinkling eyes. I remember you entertaining us with your singing and piano playing and dancing with me at family gatherings. I enjoyed the time you started having a conversation with me, that obviously was meant for mom, and me telling you that I think you want to be talking to mom, not me. Your reaction was priceless; it is one of my fondest memories of someone mistaking me for mom.
Rest in peace. We'll all miss you.
Love, Liz

I have so many memories: all of us at Nana’s, you and the dogs, you taking me to the doctor’s on your bike with me on the handlebars, scared, and you loving it, being such a daredevil. Henry and I taking you to the doctor in Somerville, and you still scaring me. The time you sang to me in Washington Station, your wedding and me being Margie’s maid of honor. You surprising Henry and me in Waco, Texas. Us dancing at parties and weddings. You and Virginia clowning around. You biking back home to get me my doll when I wouldn’t stop crying for it. You building tea bag forts. Me doing your book club for when you shipped out. You living with us in Dorchester and Braintree.

You were always such a good sport. Like the time I made your lunch with what I thought was a hard boiled egg and turned out to be a raw egg and I asked you what you did when you discovered that. You replied, “I ate it. Why waste it?” I guess you were ahead of your time with today’s healthy smoothies.

You were always such a good brother to me and all of us. I love and will miss you.

Love,
Barbara and Henry
