Dear Katharine: Just found this on the internet - I cannot believe it has been a whole year since your mom passed away. The tears still come occasionally but I hope that like me, your tears are interspersed with happy thoughts. I so remember our visits with you and your mom in MA, as does my daughter, Amy. I am sure that like her, you have grown into a lovely young woman. I know how well you cared for your mom as her illness progressed. Take care and find comfort, that here in Wisconsin, someone who spent so many happy times with your mom and then with you, thinks of you often and prays that you have a long and happy life. With much love, Lori.

Dear Katherine,
We are so sorry to hear about your Mom. Love, Lori, your Mom and I used to be roommates during the time when we studied for our nursing degree. We were all very good friends. About 15 years ago we visited you and your Mom at your home. We also celebrated your 16th birthday. May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Marianne and Pieter d'Arnaud
